چکیده

The design and implementation of a wideband single-mode dielectric resonator antenna (DRA) with substrate integrated cavity-backed structure is presented in this paper. Two short-circuited striplines differential feeding are placed inside the cavity (SIC) for pure mode excitation DRA, providing stable radiation characteristics, low cross polarization levels. coupled to cylindrical DRA through an annular slot. fundamental ${\mathrm{ HEM}}_{11\delta }$ excited over wide frequency band, as result similar field distribution created on coupling slot by two modes cavity. Measurement results show maximum gain 8.2 dBi at 5.45 GHz. 7.8 center 5.15 GHz its 1-dB bandwidth 23%. measured 10-dB return loss 26% (centered GHz) which highest among previously reported works based DRAs DRAs. co-polarization cross-polarization difference boresight direction more than 26 dB. This element can be used cover range wireless standards access point applications due band performance.

Wideband Millimeter - Wave Cavity - Backed Bowtie Antenna

Although many directive antennas operating in a narrow band of millimeter (mm) waves were reported, e.g., antennas for 60GHz wireless local area network (WLAN), their wideband counterparts are still unpopular. Cavity-backed antennas (CBAs) are widely developed and reported in microwave frequency bands, but handful of literatures can be found about mm-wave CBAs in spite that their many propertie...

Wideband Monopole/dielectric Resonator Antenna - a Review

Several wideband antennas are presented for either wireless application. This paper presents the performance of a simple monopole antenna loaded with an annular dielectric resonator as a wideband transmitting/receiving antenna. By adjusting the length of the monopole and load arm, a 10-dB bandwidth of 94% is achieved while maintaining monopole-like radiation pattern, which covers UWB applicatio...

Substrate Integrated Waveguide Horn Antenna for 60 Ghz Band

The paper presents the design and fabrication of a H-plane substrate integrated waveguide (SIW) horn antenna. The antenna operates at 60 GHz band and is equipped with a SIW-to-WR15 transition. Experimental results prove that the antenna achieves the gain of 11.5 dBi and the impedance bandwidth of 14 % for the reflection coefficient less than -10 dB. The antenna was designed with the help of CST...

Embedded Dual band Cylindrical Dielectric Resonator Antenna

A compact dual-band antenna made of high dielectric constant substrate is studied. Embedding a higher dielectric cylindrical inside the substrate host cylindrical enhances the dual-band behaviour. The first part displays the characteristics of single CRDA as return loss, bandwidth and radiation pattern, then, the second part describes the aim of using an antenna, composed by the arrangement of ...
